MageBase Site News Update

After running MageBase for over two months now, we decided to make a few little changes.

We decided that the ratings feature wasn’t proving very popular so we removed it, replacing it with the Facebook ‘Like’ button. Let’s see how well this works…

We added an Archives page to the top page navigation which also lists all the available category RSS feeds.

We also upgraded to WordPress 3.0 and updated some of our plugins to the latest versions.

Finally, we enabled the WP Super Cache plugin. That should make sure we can sustain growing traffic over time.

We are still working on a MageBase logo and theme re-design but it’s taking its time. We’ll keep you posted on that.

We hope you will enjoy the new features and we’ll keep on working on new tips, tutorials and other curiosities from the Magento world.
