Vinai Kopp

Working as a freelance developer most of my life, I decided to specialize in Magento in 2008, before version 1.0 was released. This turned out to be a lucky choice, since I got a head start into the Magento boom. I have moved on into Magento developer trainings since then in early 2010. From February 2011 I'm was the official contract trainer for Magento Inc's developer trainings, and since October 2011 I am manager of developer education at Magento Inc. as a full time employee. Oh, and I'm also the co-author of the German Magento Developer Handbook published by O'reilly. In my free time I'm trying to slowly turn myself into a barefoot endurance runner.
